Two kinds of pages, one portal
Magazine pages cover what’s happening: community gatherings in the Bay Area, lectures, people profiles, and essays.
Knowledge pages are entity pages — Nanjing itself, Nanjing University, Zheng He, Ming Xiaoling — each with key facts, a clear statement of its Nanjing connection, and citations to the source library.
How content is made
Behind the site is an editorial system with one non-negotiable rule: AI drafts. Humans publish. An editorial assistant can collect sources and prepare drafts, but every factual page is reviewed by a person before it appears here, and every page shows where its facts come from.
